The Pastor Search Committee, elected by 2BC in September 2012, is an incredibly wise, wonderful, thoughtful, discerning, and loving group.  They covet your prayers for God's leadership in the crucial process of seeking 2BC's next pastor. 

 

WE HAVE GREAT NEWS TO REPORT!!  Please mark your calendars for a very important weekend in the life of Second Baptist Church!  The Pastor Search Committee has unanimously and enthusiastically invited a candidate to come in view of a call the weekend of April 12-14.  We have each felt God's guidance throughout this process and are so grateful for the clarity we feel in making this decision.  Please join our prayers of thanksgiving for the way we have seen and felt God at work in our committee and in the life of our candidate.  You will find the suggested time for you Bible Study group to meet in Fellowship Hall with him below:

All church members are invited to meet with the Pastor Search Committee in Fellowship Hall to reveal name, bio, and additional information about the candidate.  The committee will also be available to answer your questions.
