On Friday, August 13th the 2BC vans and buses will be packed with people and supplies.     

 

Every year during the month of July, 2BC collects school supplies to give to the children of Helena, AR, one of the poorest counties in the nation. We also collect funds to help provide school uniforms for them.  We want the students of Helena to feel confident and prepared on that first day of school.  Having the necessary tools to begin the new school year is a good start!

 

At present we still need the following items:  school boxes, glue sticks, erase caps, 24 pack of crayons, blunt scissors, primary tablets, wedge erasers, 70 count notebooks, composition books, filler paper, mechanical pencils, colored pencils, 1" binders, pencil boxes, Protractor, 12 in rulers, calculators and compasses.  You can bring purchased items to the church and drop them off in the back of the worship center. before AUGUST 9th.  Monatary donations can be made through the church office, 374-9284.
