You Can Help Hurting People in Haiti
"CHANGE HAITI" - We're collecting change in our worship center to help with Haiti relief efforts. Whatever you are chosing to "do without" during this season of Lent, we are encouraging you to give back. Whether it's the money you saved from not stopping by Starbucks on the way to work because you've given up caffine, or the money you saved by not purchasing that chocolate bar out of the vending machine this morning, give the money you saved to help someone in desperate need - help "CHANGE HAITI".
2BC has a team of folks going to Haiti during Spring Break. They will be encountering some pretty rough living conditions and life situations. Please pray for this team as they go to see how they can help the people of Haiti begin to pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives. Pray for our team and pray for the people of Haiti daily!
Another way you can help is to collect medical supplies for Steve and Nancy James, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship field personnel in Haiti. They are health care professionals working to meet the country’s overwhelming medical needs.
