02.10.10, 04:20am - We ARE having the memorial service today, Wednesday, February 10th at 2pm with the church-wide lunch at noon.
Our beloved friend, Benita Barnett, passed away Thursday morning around 2:30am. Please be in prayer for her daughter, Kylie, her parents Harold and Doris Barnett, Chip Garritty, Kylie’s father, and Jim and Lala Garritty, Chip’s parents.
We will have a memorial service to celebrate Benita's life at 2BC on Tuesday, February 9th, at 2pm.
At noon on Tuesday (prior to the service), there will be a potluck luncheon for Benita's family, out of town friends and the 2BC family. The church will provide fried chicken, rolls and drinks. Check with your SS class or department regarding the dish your group has been assigned to bring (veggie, salad or dessert). If you plan on attending lunch, please plan on bringing a dish. We want to have plenty of food for all in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all memorials be made to Second Baptist Church.
