Logan Carpenter - Minister to Families - Second Baptist Church, Little Rock

Logan Carpenter

Logan Carpenter has been serving as the Minister to Families for Second Baptist Church since June of 2008. Logan works alongside a number of lay leaders to facilitate ministries to youth, kids and their families. He and his wife Christy have three children: Ellie, Levi and Annabelle.

Logan graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 (whoop), serving as a student ministry associate at University Baptist Church in Houston for three summers during college. He then went on to earn his M.Div. from Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in 2008 and while in seminary he had the privilege to be the youth and children's minister at New Journey Church in Midlothian, VA. Logan is passionate about students and helping them to experience God in a very real and personal way. He loves to spend time with kids of all ages in teaching times, in small groups, or just having fun, talking about things that truly matter to them. If you attend a church function and are looking for Logan, go where you see a bunch of kids and look for the big guy.

In his spare time Logan enjoys playing or watching sports, with a tendency to obsess over all things Aggie. He likes to play games, watch movies and spends most of his free time hanging out and having a blast with his wife and kids.
