Donna Gosser is the Minister of Worship Arts and Administration for Second Baptist Church. She has served 2BC in the area of worship and the arts for over ten years and has just recently taken on some additional administrative responsibilities.

Music has always been as natural to Donna as life itself. She grew up singing in award-winning choirs, playing various instruments and performing in local theater. Donna earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree (B.M.E.) from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and a Master of Music Education (M.M.E.) from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe. After several years of teaching public school music and then working in the corporate world in the area of management and accounting, she followed the Lord’s leading to serve the church.

Donna is passionate about helping people (anyone she comes in contact with!) to discover, develop and use their God-given talents in service and in worship to the Lord. She feels privileged to serve the local body and to be walking along side some of the most awesome people in the world as they grow together in Christlikeness - through worship, discipleship, community and mission. We are to be like Christ “as we go” in the world, and Donna believes the local church can help people do just that.

Arkansas is home for Donna and her family. She met the love of her life, Bobby Gosser, Jr., while in college. They’ve been married for 25 years and have three children. The oldest is Trey, an awesome musician, an avid duck hunter, and a young man after God’s heart. The middle child, Alex, is a sports fanatic – baseball, football, basketball, skateboards – you name it, he does it. Last but certainly not least in the family is the “baby girl”, McKenzie. McKenzie brings so much joy to everyone around her. She loves to dance and is a natural born leader. Life is always busy and full at the Gosser home!

Donna loves traveling and spending time with her large, extended family and friends. She enjoys serving the community through her children’s schools and several local charity organizations. Donna likes taking photos, scrapbooking and creating photo projects for friends. Of course, she is an avid Arkansas Razorback fan – go HOGS!
